Flick of the Whisk Cakes has a “right place, right time” storyline. Owner & Baker, Bryonna, lives a busy lifestyle, working as an Interior Designer & part-time dog walker. Needless to say, it was hard for her to find the time to start a business and put the necessary time towards it. After months of back & forth thinking, constant support & encouragement from her friends and family, & God blessing her with a month of available time and willpower, Flick of the Whisk Cakes was born. Right place, Right time.
Flick of the Whisk Cakes prides itself on making cakes from scratch. While many expect this from all bakeries, the sad truth is some often use cake box mixes. To each their own, no judgement here. But Flick of the Whisk Cakes understands the importance of providing clients with quality, great tasting and beautiful desserts, and that means making both the cake and frosting from scratch with love.
Bryonna has been cooking & baking since she was young, watching her mom first and then learning step by step what goes into making great tasting food and even greater tasting desserts. At the constant request of her dad, she started with a simple recipe, Chocolate Chip Cookies. That evolved into helping her mom make her famous pound cake, learning the recipe for her grandmas amazing butter cookies, and surprising her whole family on Thanksgiving by making a caramel apple naked cake. Her passion grew & everyday she learns more & more how to continue to deliver beautiful, yummy cakes to her clients.
